This is a military line, MARS (Military Advanced Regulator System), produced by Patagonia at the request of the US military.
It was adopted by special forces, but due to the high cost, it was not issued to general soldiers. It was used by special forces operating in extreme environments. Therefore, it is rare and not even listed in the general Patagonia catalog.
The base design is Patagonia's Slingshot, with a thin nylon shell. It can be layered and inserted between other layers, and it can also be made compact, making it a versatile piece for various situations, such as in the field or while traveling.
This is the same model worn by designer Takahiro Miyashita.
It's a special one with Velcro. I don't think it comes up for sale often, so if you've been looking for one, please take this opportunity.
