Blue Mountain Pottery Swan Dish (Stands approx.5” tall, (12cm.) approx.6” long (15cm.)
Blue Mountain Pottery was a Canadian company located in Collingwood, Ontario. It was founded in 1953 and closed in 2004. The company’s products have a worldwide fan base and this has resulted in the formation of the Blue Mountain Pottery Collectors club.
The company’s products featured a unique glazing process called ‘reflowing decorating’. This process resulted in each piece having unique patterns. So although the shape was the same, each piece had a different glazed pattern which makes each item produced by the Blue Mountain Pottery totally unique.
